Final Settings in my budget tipid wedding

August 15, 2010 4 Comments

Pinoy tipid wedding

Typical Filipino wedding

Here are the Final Settings that were planned and happened in my wedding last December 2007 in Quezon City, Philippines.

I will be uploading more photos sooner. A helpful website for more wedding information is the Weddings at work.

Church– Sta. Rita De Cascia at Philam Homes Q.C.(Wedding fee – Php12,000) Reserved June 2007.

This is a very nice and solemn place for a wedding which is very accessible. Other church that I visited and recommended was St. Ignatius Cathedral in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City (you can request for an air-conditioner with a wedding fee approximately 7 or Php 8, 000)

Reception – Sta. Rita Social Hall(Venue Rental – Php 8, 000) with >Eloquente Catering Services good for 150 persons (Php 80, 000)
Menu List: Main Course:Mixed Seafood Tepanyaki, Tuna & Beef Pasta Fettucinne, Braised Beef with red wine, mild spicy Pork Spare ribs, Chicken Galantina, Brocolli & Mushroom Casserole and steam rice.Soup: Cream of Pumpkin soup, Salad Bar: Garden Fresh Salad with Thousand Island Dressing Drinks: Bottomless lemon ice tea includes: Setup of coffee and tea bar Desserts: Patries, Leche Flan and Buko Lychee with Free Bridal Car, Two Layer Cake(Merced) and Sound system with bubble effect.

The service and food at Eloquente Catering are great. Our menu list chosen by us are really 99.9% approved and tastely delicious perfect for wedding.

I suggest you attend a food tasting if there are events in the catering services so you can also see their setup which we did.

Video and photography – >C2 Handcrafted Collections Traditional Photo (Php24,500 w/ addt’s.)
Bridal Car – Included in the Catering Package.

Flowers for Entourage – Php 5, 000 (Dangwa, Sampaloc Manila)

Wedding Attire – FSR Boutique Pasilio V-9 Ilaya, Divisoria(Package for bridal gown with accessories, groom suit, 8 bridesmaids, 1 maid of honor, 9 camisa de chino with color 3 for ring bearer and 3 flower girls, 1 bride’s mom gown (Php 20, 000)

Invitation Cards- personalized made (Php600) 70 pcs.

Souvenir for the guest – personalized Wedding Music Collection CD (Php 500)

Souvenir for the sponsors – pen holder, cellphone holder figurine charm for 2008(Php800)

Bride’s Hair and Make-up – Davids Salon(Php 750) “To lessen the charge I personally go their salon with my cousin to have a hair and make-up, I just wear blouse with buttons so it will not disarrange my hair and make-up”

Hotel – >Stonehouse Bed and breakfast Presidential Suite(Php 5, 000- 2 days)

This hotel has a beautiful and big presidential suite.

Honeymoon Getaway – Tagaytay Country Hotel Executive suite(Php 13,500- 3 days)

Program Projector – Php 2, 500

Emcee – Php 500 (I am lucky to have a discount because the emcee is one of my brother’s colleague).

Transportation allowance (unleaded gas) – 1, 000(Back and forth to Tagaytay)

Approximate total amount spent in the wedding is Php 168, 000+ plus the miscellaneous expenses making it close to Php 200, 000.

[…] You should manage the target dates for the completion of the wedding plans. As much as possible the earlier is the better so you can still have enough time to double check the settings and take a beauty rest. During my wedding, I ask help from my close friends, sister and brother to help me out throughout the wedding so I was able to come-up with the final settings in my wedding. […]
