Mommy bloggers concern on child’s fine motor skills, kid’s to love reading, typhoid vaccine and online reputation

May 15, 2012 Leave a Comment

This is my first post for the Mommy bloggers round-up posts with my cool fellow Filipino mommy bloggers. I hope to update the mommy bloggers concern weekly so I can share motherhood thoughts and experiences.

Mommy Levy shared several ways on how to improve your child’s motor skills. Paint doodle and puzzle games are some of the ways that she mentioned which I already did with my little boy. She is right that we need to be creative in helping your child in improving their fine motor skills. Kid’s are playful and loves to do different things so we need to take advantage in showing them different things and ways for their development.

Books are great source of information. With Mommy Pehpot’s 10 Smart Parenting Tips On Encouraging Your Kids To Love Reading Books, we can help our child to love reading books. In her post, she also specified some suggestions at home and even outside like bringing your child to museums, parks and playground for a more fun approach in reading.

Nowadays, teenagers and even younger children are prone to online activities. Mommy Maui shared her ways on how we can protect our child’s online reputation. This is one of the biggest problem of the parents when their children are exposed to different online activities. We cannot monitor them 24/7 but at least we can protect them by being tech savvy parents and your child should let you know his registration and passwords with different sites that he is registered.

Lastly, my post about “Who should get Typhoid Vaccine and and When?” is a detailed summary of what parents should know about Typhoid. It is more of a protection especially when your family have plans to travel because we may never know the risk of the bacteria called Salmonella Typhi that causes Typhoid fever.
