In my older posts, I have shared the college scholarship grants in the Philippines. Although not all students prefer to finish their college degree because of some reasons, a good alternative option for them to continue learning and possibly land a job is to enroll in technical education and short courses. Some people wanted to immediately have a job after graduating in High school to help their family. Other people don’t wanted to engage in a four year/ five year college course and just wanted to pursue with their interest or passion for a living in an instant.
Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) offers different programs and services. Recently, TESDA distributes 1,000 training scholarship certificates on Labor Day 2012. The programs and services depends on the type you are applying such as school based, center based, community based, Enterprice based, TESDA language skills and TESDA registered programs.

The success of every person’s career does not depend on the school and diploma. Most successful persons that I have known worked with their passion and interest. They harness their knowledge and special talents by focusing on their chosen field on how they can improve it.
As parents, we should learn and understand our child’s interest then guide them to be a successful individual.
