This post is a round-up week for mommy bloggers buzz sharing informative articles and post.
The first day of school for nursery student is one of the most challenging part that a parent is facing when their child started schooling. I have experience that part with my three-year old toddler on his first week of school. Although my son is not crying and do not have tantrums, I have noticed that most children in nursery do not want their parents leave them in the classroom. Good thing that I was able to come up with an effective preparation for my little boy before he goes to school with the “Helpful Tips on Preparing your Child for Nursery School“.
One tip in the post is Expose your child to a playgroup. This way a child can start to make friends, play with his playgroup and start to observe discipline. You can enroll him in a toddler’s playgroup or you can simply invite his playmates in your house to play with him. There are many ways to form a playgroup. You can try to form a small playgroup in your community or in the event. Introducing them to a playgroup may help them to be independent in school to avoid crying when you are not around.
Two mommy bloggers – Mommy Pehpot and Mommy Levy participated in the Unilab Run United 2. I would really wanted to participate in the event but because I am pregnant, I skip. On Mommy Pehpot’s post “Unilab Run United 2“, she shared her experience in the event as she and her kids participated. In the event, there is Active Kids Zone that offers a lot activities for kid runners such as Fight Sakit from Enervon, Speedy Game from Dolan and a shooting game from Ceelin. Kids can also have fun posing at Museo Pambata’s poster caricature and read some books at the mobile library. Those are some booths that kids will surely enjoy.

Mommy Pehpot noted in the post: Lesson learned: leave the toddlers at home unless they will be joining the run – Run United 1 that is why two of her Ceelin protektodo toddlers at home, both joined the 500m dash!

On the other post about “Unilab Run United 2012 overview“, Mommy Levy shared her experience in the event. She mentioned some of her comments and suggestions:

Mommy Levy Comments and suggestions on Unilab Run United 2012
1. It would be nice if the race bibs and other perks where given on the day the runners registered. Going back to get it at the expo costs time, effort and transportation fees.
2. Compared last March, they have a daycare center now that the children could stay while the parents run. Last March, I was not able to run because I didn’t have anyone to leave my son with. So, the Day Care Center is really a great help.
3. The Organizer (Coach Rio) is on hand on everything. Some runners saw him helping the staffs picking up plastic cups at water stations.
