As a mom, we want all the best for our children. We always want to provide good things, healthy foods and monitor almost everything for them. Have you ever wondered if fun and healthy can go together when it comes to children? Not all the things that kids like today are necessarily good for them. Some fun and exciting for kids such as eating junk food, playing the whole afternoon and watching TV often may not have a positive and healthy effect to them.
Children today know that they have the power to decide for themselves just as much as their parents. Kids usually make decisions based on what they think is fun while moms choose what’s best for their kids. Finding creative ways to convince our children to make the right choices, especially when it comes to their health is essential in parenting.
Great thing! Unilab introduces a new exciting vitamin that will definitely make taking Vitamin C a fun, memorable experience.
UNILAB LAUNCHES VITAPOPS: THE FIRST & ONLY POP ROCKS VITAMIN C
To unveil this new and fun Vitamin C for children, Unilab invited moms from the media and mommy network of bloggers with their children to an exclusive event—Pop Rockin’ Field Trip— in Active Fun, Bonifacio Global City. As one of the mommy blog partners, I was there with my little boy and experienced the Mom-child bonding sessions that were made fun and exciting through prepared kiddie games and educational activities.
What is VitaPops?
VitaPops is the first & only pop rocks Vitamin C in the country,” shared VitaPops Product Manager Joseph Aruta. “Aside from its unique format, VitaPops comes in a single-dose sachet making it more convenient for moms and kids to bring around, has 1/5 the sugar content compared to your regular vitamins and is formulated with Sodium Ascorbate making it tummy-friendly. With VitaPops, we hope to give moms & kids a healthy yet fun compromise.”
VitaPops: Ensuring 100% protection from sickness
“To be healthy takes more than eating fruits and vegetables. Today, due to handling, processing and cooking, the Vitamin C content in milk, fruits and vegetables is significantly reduced so eating these foods may not be enough to attain one’s recommended daily intake of Vitamin C, especially in children. It is important that moms ensure full Vitamin C protection to keep kids always healthy so they can accomplish a lot of things and enjoy more time with their family and friends,” explained Dr. Inciong. “In addition, kids are usually exposed to high levels of sugar because they are easily drawn to sweets and candies so it’s important for the parents to manage their children’s sugar intake and provide them with healthy food choices.”
There are a lot of children’s Vitamin C available in the market today and choosing the right one can get confusing for moms. It’s important to remember that children’s opinion when choosing a vitamin brand is essential. If the kids like their vitamins then moms will not have a hard time getting them to take it.

The Mom-to-mom discussion was led by VitaPops celebrity moms, TV host and former VJ Donita Rose and TV host and personality Daphne Osena-Paez. Lending credibility to the brand is licensed educator, Associate Active Consultant at Institute of Pediatrics and Child Health and a general pediatrician, Dr. Liz Inciong. The Mommy talk engaged the guests, sharing their common parenting concerns and health tips when it comes to their children.
VitaPops: Mom-Approved
Daphne and Donita were also introduced as the official VitaPops celebrity moms because they embody what the brand advocates– seriously fun goodness – when it comes to parenting and in the products they choose when taking care of their kids. Donita and Daphne are fun moms who prioritize their children’s health and consider what their kids will enjoy. They know how to strike the right balance between fun and healthy.
Daphne and Donita shared their thoughts on VitaPops
“I like giving VitaPops to my children but what’s more amazing is how my kids love it! They immediately liked it the moment they first tried it. They like it so much that they immediately told their friends about it,” shared Daphne.
“VitaPops is the most fun and exciting Vitamin C in the market because it comes in pop-rocks format — it fizzles and pops inside the mouth. This makes taking Vitamin C an experience that kids will enjoy, while ensuring that they remain healthy as it boosts their immune system,”said Donita.
The mommy network of bloggers (Lilian of TheGomom, Michelle of Mom-Friday, Pehpot of Make or Break, and Jem of Experience of a Super Mommy – Me) also shared their thoughts about the VitaPops vitamin C. We like the new exciting VitaPops Vitamin C granules that kids will enjoy. According to some mommy bloggers, the good thing about this new vitamin C for kids is that it comes in handy sachets. What makes it more exciting and fun is the popping effect the moment you put it in your mouth and the granules are easily absorb as it melts. I gave some VitaPops to my niece and when she tried, she told me that it feels like there is magic popping in her mouth.
Where can we buy VitaPops and how much is the cost?
VitaPops is available in all leading drugstores nationwide. It costs PHP10 / sachet. VitaPops can be taken once or twice a day, or as directed by your pediatrician.

Too bad, my son and I missed this event. I thought kasi the kids are going to play at Active Fun, and my son is not allowed to do strenuous physical activities now because of his hip problem. Had I known that they’ll be doing parlor games only, then we would have attended to join you, Peh, and Michelle. Hope to see you soon!

It’s a good marketing to catch moms attention too. I guess, there’s no reason for kids to say no to Vitamin C with this cool and unique approach. The price is reasonable though…
