Workshop Safety Glasses

September 17, 2012 2 Comments

Want to look great while protecting your eyes in doing workshop? In a workshop especially woodworking, you should always wear safety glasses to  prevent objects from being able to get to your eyes. The side shields of the safety glasses are affixed to the frames which is responsible in protecting your eyes. Although the usual design of safety glasses are different from regular glasses, you can still look great wearing them with stylish workshop safety glasses.

The photo above is a stylish clear fast cap safety glasses. It has the clear anti-fog lenses that allow maximum light transmission; The rubber nose piece, adjustable length arms, shatter-proof wrap-around lenses, reinforced temples, and UV protection provide safety and versatility you’ll appreciate in these glasses. The rubber nose piece is ultra comfort and it is available in clear, tinted, amber or mirror. The UV protection is a good advantage when woodworking outdoors.

These safety glasses are good protection, comfortable to wear and lightweight. Best uses for Carpentry, Construction, Mechanics, Outdoor Work, Working With Power, and Tools.

Since most workshop are done with man power, I think my husband should also have this kind of protection whenever he do certain carpentry at home.

Important features of safety glasses over regular glasses.

1. Safety glasses have stronger frames than typical glasses and are built to keep the lenses from being pushed into the eyes.

2. The lenses of safety glasses are impact . If by accident an object were to hit you in the face, the safety glasses will surely protect your eyes.
3. Safety glasses have side shields. Like the fast cap safety glasses in the photo above, it has shatter-proof wrap-around lenses. Others have impact resistant side shields affixed to the frames.
