3 Lego Minecraft Steve DIY

October 5, 2015 2 Comments

How to make a Lego Minecraft Steve? My son loves to play Lego. He is also hook in playing minecraft using his imagination with his Lego toys. With Minecraft game, there is no limit to what you wanted to build. No wonder that this game has been a favorite of most boys and even adults too. Since my son is a fan of minecraft and lego, I surprised him with Lego Minecraft Steve that I personally created. Here’s what I build for my son using different lego bricks.

Minecraft Steve and Lego Minecraft Steve DIY

DIY Lego Minecraft Steve and Original Minecraft Steve

The very first minecraft game that my son played is Ucraft. It is a 2D building block game. The concept is like in minecraft game. I think there is just a limitation with game settings because this is an App to be installed in smartphone. Nonetheless, my son enjoyed playing this in  little time. I was curious to what Minecraft is, so, I did some research. I found out that Steve is a popular minecraft character. To make my son happier, I’ve done do-it-yourself Lego Minecraft Steve.

Do-it-yourself Lego Minecraft

Lego Minecraft Steve Medium

The Lego Minecraft Steve Medium was the first that I created. I make use of the Lego bricks from my son’s Lego creative tower. To build this medium size Steve, you need several Lego bricks listed below. For the face, I just cut a piece of paper and draw Steve’s face using color pencil and water-based correction fluid on the white of the eyes. Sorry it is not that pretty 🙂 . These are cool Minecraft Steve alternative if you do not have yet the original minecraft Steve figure.

How to make Lego Minecraft Steve Medium size? You will need:

  • Head – 2 pieces – brick 2 x 2 , Neck – plate 2 x 2
  • Upper body – 4 pieces –  light blue brick 1 x 4, 2 pieces –  light blue brick 1 x 2
  • Lower body – 6 pieces –  blue brick 1 x 2
  • arms – 3 pieces tan brick 1 x 2
  • feet/ shoes – 1  gray brick 4 x 4
  • Axe –  brown plate 1 x 5, gray brick 1 x 1, small triangular tile brick (not really sure what this part is called)

All you have to do is to connect each parts looking at the model photo.

Do-it-yourself Lego Minecraft Steve Figure

Lego Minecraft Steve small DIY

The best and coolest Do-it-yourself Lego Minecraft Steve is this small one. It is like a lego minecraft steve minifigure. Why? It is because we only need few bricks compared to the medium size. Although the face is blank, the parts are in detail.

How to make Lego Minecraft Steve small? You will need:

  • hair – brown plate 2 x 2 , brown brick 1 x 2
  • head/ face – tan brick 1 x 2,  tan plate 2 x 2
  • upper body – light blue brick 1 x 4, light blue rick 1 x 2
  • lower body – 2 pieces –  light gray 1 brick 1 x 2
  • arms – tan brick 1 x 1, tan brick 1 x 1 with one hole
  • feet/ stand – black plate 2 x 3
  • gray axe or sword

Same with the first Lego Steve, you only have to connect each brick to complete its parts. This Lego Minecraft Steve small is the one that I chose included in my son’s 7th birthday giveaway.

Do-it-yourself Lego Minecraft Robot Steve

Lego Minecraft Robot DIY

The last one is the Lego Minecraft Robot DIY. My son actually did this part. It was his idea to have a robot Steve in his Lego toys. What he did is to replace the tan brick 1 x 2 face with 2 pieces tan brick 1 x 1 with hole. Then, he added a stud on both holes as the eyes of the robot Steve.

There are many things that you can create or build if you have  many lego bricks especially with this Lego creative tower. We haven’t bought the original Lego Minecraft yet. For the meantime, my son was contented using different Lego parts and bricks to come up with his own minecraft world. I love my son that’s why I play with him. I support that things that he loves to do too. His 7th birthday theme is all about the creative world of Minecraft. We want a memorable birthday for him. I made his minecraft invitation cards from this ideas at friendly minecraft invitation printable.

Which Lego Minecraft Steve you like most from the list that we’ve created? Please share your thoughts..
