Ventosa and Massage at Babaylan Spa

Ventosa and Massage at Babaylan Spa

Ventosa and Massage at Babaylan Spa

I have a relaxing ventosa and massage at Babaylan spa.  Due to fatigue, stress, and less sleep, I am experiencing upper back pain. The pain reliever is temporary and not enough so I went to a spa for the traditional “hilot” with ventosa. The on-going home improvement makes me really busy. It is like I was standing the whole day. Almost everyday, we go to the hardware to buy the materials needed for the house. The result is burnout. Good thing that there is a nearest spa at our place that offers traditional massage.

At first, I was hesitant to go to Babaylan spa because the models promoting their spa are the sexy Mocha girls. I am thinking that this spa is exclusive for males only. But upon doing some research on the internet and seeing some posts, I found out that this spa is for the whole family. There is offering massage for kids too.

The owner of the Babaylan spa in Richfields building, Molino road, Cavite is very nice and accommodating. I inquired through text message and I got swift replies from her. She explains to me the procedure and what to expect after Ventosa.

Babaylan Spa has an Asian theme which offers traditional hilot. I’ve read this from their facebook page – “Feel your stress melt away with the traditional Hilot Babaylan, or indulge in some soothing nourishment with a Body Scrub at Babaylan Spa!

Although their spa is not that cozy compared other spa center, the place is clean and neat. The staff are friendly and accommodating just like the owner. The ambiance it tranquil when I went there and the temperature is just right for calming the body.

For the Ventosa and massage (Hilot at Bentosa), first they massage my upper back followed by the ventosa cupping. I almost slept while the massage therapist do the process. I preferred light massage and told her the part that I am feeling pain. The Ventosa and massage procedure took about one and a half hour. It cost Php450.00 only. I found it low compared to other spa center that I’ve been. The photo in the left is my upper back the day after I’ve done with Ventosa and massage. They told me that the red marks will disappear in two days or a week. They also told me not to take a bath for two days after the procedure.

Aside from the massage, Babaylan also offers body scrub and waxing services. For more details, Visit their facebook page Babaylan Spa Molino Cavite or contact them at 0998-5713512 or 0905-4860176.
