About the author
Super mommy Jem graduated B.S. Computer Engineering at the City College of Manila, Philippines year 2003. She is a working student blessed to have gain wonderful experiences from her family, school, On-the-Job training, work and people she met. Her career started when she worked as a service crew at Mc Donald’s food chain while studying in college then later on became LSM (Local Store marketing) for two years. Jem decided to resign on her 3rd year in college to prioritize her major subjects and she succeeded finishing her course. Her On-the-Job training is Acer computer Philippines and Tricom Dynamics (exclusive distributor and service center of Toshiba notebooks) by which she acquired knowledge about computers and troubleshooting techniques. After finishing college, she immediately accepted the job offer as a collections staff at the AIG (American International group) company because of a good offer as a fresh graduate. Jem is still hopeful to pursue a career in her field and it was an answered prayer when she was accepted to work as one of the helpdesk/ technical support of Tricom Dynamics. She also manages a small internet cafe business with his boyfriend (now her husband). After resignation at Tricom Dynamics, she plans to work abroad and lucky to pass to become a technical coordinator but uncertain to grab the opportunity because of some situation thinking that was stuck in her mind (advantages and disadvantages of working abroad). Based on her calculations, there are more disadvantages working abroad on her part so she takes advantage of staying here in the Philippines. She then worked as a Technical Support Representative in one of the leading call center in the Philippines “Teletech” before she manage full time in their internet cafe business. Her journey as a home-based worker sparks when she passed an examination to become an internet evaluator in one of the leading search engine on the net. Soon she gets married with his fiancé after eight years of infinite love and friendship and her focus now is her loving family that’s why she continue to choose to be a WAHM (work at home mommy).
Luckily, she is also been blessed with a great work at home online and so happy and contented to engage in a long term career working with honesty, perseverance and dedication. She believes that being a mom doesn’t hinder your career, besides it will make you become a fulfilling individual with lots of colourful wings like a butterfly so she still keep herself updated in her career as she personally manage to have a self study about web design and development then apply it through sharing with this website. Because of her multi-tasking career as a work at home mommy, she commended herself as a Super mommy Jem that leads to the creation of “Experience of a Super Mommy” website.
