Simple Ginataang Halo halo recipe

Ginataang Halo halo is one of my favorite merienda. At home, I usually cook this after lunch that I dedicated for my little boy.

Note: Choose a good quality of coconut milk. It is best to use the natural coconut milk that can be bought from the wet market rather than the artificial cocomilk.

Nutrition: Cocomilk (the main ingredient) contains vitamins, electrolytes and minerals which are essential to human body. It is rich in phosphorus which aids in building strong bones. Sweet potato is a good source of fiber good for your bowel movement.

Special Sinigang na Isda sa Miso(Fish Sour Stew) – Filipino Dish

A different twist to cook sinigang na isda is to use a Miso. I usually used a Knorr Sinigang sa Miso pack because I do not like the smell of the miso that was available in the wet market. I am also not sure for the miso that was sold to the wet market.

Note: Talakitok taste so good in Sinigang sa Miso (sour stew).

Nutrition: Good source of iodine (sea white-deep water fish- Talakitok). The Green Mustard (Mustasa) has vitamin A, B, C, Iron and rich in potassium valuable to pregnant woman and nursing mothers.
