It is been a week when my child experience sickness with chicken pox. In my recent post “What to do when your child is sick with chicken pox?“, I am so glad that the things that I have done posted there was a great help. On the fifth day, I brought my child to his very kind pediatrician for check-up. I told her that I noticed that few blisters that were scratched by my son develops a little boil that could be an infection. Also, he had few mouth ulcers. She told us that the mouth ulcers occurred because my son’s immune system weakens. My son can’t sleep comfortably for two to three days because of chicken pox itchiness and I think that weakens his immune system. The pediatrician told me that as much as possible she don’t want to recommend a medicine for a person sick with chicken pox but she just gave us an antibiotic in small dosage. She even recommend xylogel when my son is experiencing pain with mouth ulcers.
My son still complains about the aches in his mouth ulcers on the sixth and seventh day. Since Kulantro cures all viral and bacterial infections, I temporarily stopped using toothpaste for his brushing but instead I used the warm water from boiled Kulantro as his mouthwash. Now is the 8th day and I have noticed that he didn’t complains about his mouth ulcers which means that it didn’t hurt anymore. I believe skin itchiness on the chicken pox blisters had stopped. Most of the chicken pox blisters that turned into little wounds became dried and it is naturally on the healing process. The few blisters that developed little boils also turned dried and we are just waiting for its natural healing. Since he does not have fever on the sixth day and the blisters already erupted, the pediatrician told us that he can now take a quick bath. I still use the water from the warm Boiled Cilantro seeds or Kulantro seeds mixed with warm water. I carefully wash his body using his regular Johnson’s liquid milk bath soap and I just use my gentle hands without the body scrub to avoid rubbing the dried blisters.
Now he is better. There are still marks caused by chicken pox blisters and still we are waiting for the complete skin natural healing process. I believe in a week, his skin will improved and we will be ready for his 3rd birthday on the 1st week of October. Yupee!
Im suffering chicken fox right now its my seventh day. And i wash it with Kulantro seeds.. but i don’t take a bath even a quick bath its good or bad??
Well i hope i will get well soon….
Hi Elahie,
I hope for your fast recovery. According to my son’s pediatrician, it is advisable not to take a bath if you have fever and if the chicken pox blisters are not yet grown and visible.
