Jolly Cow Fresh Milk’s “My Dream Job in a Glass of Fresh Milk”

September 27, 2013 Friday – Jolly Cow Fresh Milk held an event at Angelicum College that presents “My Dream Came True with a Glass of Fresh Milk Every day.” The main objective of the campaign event is to educate children the importance of drinking milk every day to achieve their dream. This will help establish a strong foundation for kids as they grow older promoting proper nutrition that may lead them to become successful. In addition, this event will teach children the value of recycling.

A total of 140 students participated the event. At first the host of the Jolly Cow Fresh milk interviewed some of the students of what do they want to be when they grow up.  The students that were asked said that they want to be a teacher, actor, and a doctor. To be able to achieve their dreams of becoming what they want to be when they grow up, they should be healthy. One way to have proper nutrition is to drink fresh milk.

Jolly Cow Fresh Milk helps in promoting proper nutrition among children to achieve their dreams. The Jolly Cow Fresh Milk is sourced from Germany that contains 3.5% of fat content which is higher than other fresh milk brands. The fat milk makes the Jolly Cow Fresh Milk tastes better making it creamier.  Fresh Milk is a good choice because it is 100% natural (it only undergoes a process that lengthens its shelf life, no chemical or fortification is made). The guest in the event is Wanlu and his puppets. He is a “hall of famer” of Talentadong Pinoy of TV 5, renowned ventriloquist and puppeteer. Wanlu discussed with the kids why they need to drink Fresh Milk to become healthy and strong to achieve their dreams.

He shared the importance of drinking fresh milk that milk helps kids cope during growth spurts, provide complete nutrition during puberty, contains proteins which helps to rebuild muscles, and helps kids to get smarter and stronger. Milk is a great source of Calcium which is needed for better bone and teeth development. When a person is lack of Calcium intake based on the dietary allowance especially in children, it affects the height which is smaller than other kids of same age, big chances of having tooth decay; body is thin compared to other kids of same age; and unable to excel various extra-curricular activities.  Lack of Calcium is what you called “Calcium Deficiency”.

It was a fun and exciting program when Wanlu showed to the students the different kinds of puppets that he has on the event. He brought Soft puppet which is Jolly Cow Junior, the Marionette puppet, the human puppet portrayed by the student’s teachers, and the hard puppet named “Nicolo”.

Jolly Cow (Jolly Cow Fresh Milk’s Mascot) graced the event with an intermission number. The students like him so much.

The students enjoyed the arts activity wherein they have learned how to create a simple puppet using their socks with the help of Wanlu. He let the kids do a puppet of what they want to be when they grow up.

The highlight of the event is the awarding of personalized “Dream Glass of Milk” to each kids filled with Jolly Cow Fresh Milk. Each of them received a tote bag with 1 pc of Jolly Cow Fresh Milk. The Dream wall is also awarded to the teacher-in-charge where the students can write their dreams of what they want to be when they grow up.

In support of the advocacy of recycling Tetra Pack in the Philippines, the collected packs of Jolly Cow will be donated to Tetra Pack Corp. to be recycled and produce new papers.

This was indeed a fun-learning event.
