School Baon: Mamon and Dried Bananas Bento

July 3, 2014 Leave a Comment

My son said that he wants something new with his school baon. He does not want bacon rice balls bento anymore so I prepared a different one. This time I prepared a super simple and quick bento school baon with Mamon and dried Bananas bento.

To prepare a simple and quick bento school baon, I usually buy typical cupcakes like lemon square, Monde Nissin Mamon or Goldilocks Mamon and Dried fruits. In this bento school baon, I use Monde Nissin Mamon and dried Bananas for bento.

The Monde Nissin Mamon flavor that I use is Vanilla Mamon that is you can see in the filling on the photo above. With dried bananas, I use Cebu brand dried bananas.

So simple and quick to do. Just slice the mamon in halves horizontally and use your bento tools to cut and shape the mamon. On the other side of the container place the dried bananas. The mamon and dried bananas bento that I did was 100% liked by my son. He ate all of his baon. Since they are studying about Sibika tackling Filipinos living in the three islands of the Philippines, he would always remember that Cebu is in the Visayas island because I told him that the dried mangoes and bananas that I bought is a product of Cebu. Healthy school baon made fun with learning.
