Welcome 2017! For Chinese New year, 2017 is Year of the Fire Rooster, that is January 28, 2017 to February 15, 2018. According to the Chinese horoscope, every sign will experience a major transformation. Fire Rooster energy powers you up to get long-neglected or delayed projects done or at least helps you make measurable progress. It’s also a year focused on personal improvement and well-being. 2017 is Year of the Fire Rooster – Rainbow Cake
It was my first time to bake a rainbow cake to welcome 2017 Year of the Fire Rooster. Instead of seven colors, what I did are only three colors – the primary colors. Oops! I forgot to take the photos of the sliced cakes because when I served part of it to my guests at home, they consume it immediately so I guessed it tasted delicious. My only comment after tasting it is that for me, it is sugary. So the next time, I make this rainbow cake, I will lessen the use of the confectioner’s sugar. My plan is to make a healthy cake so I put grapes at the bottom edges of the cake. I failed to make a nicer icing as you can see. Next time, I’ll make it better.
I’ve searched online for predictions for 2017. According to a feng shui expert, Johnson Chua, as what I’ve read from Lucky animal sign, businesses for 2017, the lucky animal signs for 2017 are Rat, Ox and Dragon signs.
The business that will do well in the coming Year of the Fire Rooster are the food industries as well as media companies.
