Fifty Shades Darker is the sequel of the 2015 film, Fifty shades of Grey. We know that this is an American erotic romantic drama movie, which has been controversial since before the first film was released. My husband and I watched this last Friday. I’ll be sharing my thoughts on Fifty Shades Darker. It seems like this is our pre-Valentine’s date. We were supposed to watch Resident Evil Final, Chapter, but by the time we went to Evia Cinema last February 10, showing was ended.
We decided to just watch the Fifty Shades Darker. Since we’ve watched Fifty Shades of Grey at home last year, we were able to understand this sequel. If you are just watching the movie, literally, you’ll think it is all about lust, love desires, and a movie which consists of offensive parts of moral principles. Well, that’s what I thought when I’ve seen the first film. That the movie is all about s*x, nudity, and nothing worth a lesson. That was the first part of the film.
My mommy thoughts on Fifty Shades Darker, the second film is different. In this movie sequel, it presented the reasons on why Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) was abusive and dominant over women. He had suffered abuse during his childhood. It was also revealed that he had a bad history about his birth mother who is a prostitute addicted to crack and had committed suicide. The unfortunate events that had happened in his early life affects his present living and the way he treats women. So much for that. I am actually not a good storyteller about this movie. So just sharing my thoughts.
On a brighter side, I see a lesson on the Fifty Shades Darker movie.
- To love passionately and to trust the person you love.
- Be open to him/her (as long as his intentions are for real). Do not keep a secret, because sometimes secrets will haunt you.
- If you truly love him/her, you are not going to give up.
- That, you are willing to accept his weakness and everything about him. That’s true love.
- You are willing to adjust to the person you dearly love.
- You will do your best to be a better half of your loved one.
These are my mommy thoughts on Fifty Shades Darker or my opinion on fifty shades darker.
I have pending blog posts and hope to finish it tonight or tomorrow morning. Have a great week ahead!
