Remember my fast learner child? I’m sure most who knew my son are waiting for updates about him. Let’s do the fast forward first. We enrolled him in a music lesson in playing organ. We’re joyous in the first-ever Organ Recital by Jelvin Alfred as a beginner.
There were 12 sessions for organ training before the Organ Recital by Jelvin Alfred . Initially, we enrolled him in an organ group lesson in his school. After a few sessions, the administrator of the music training – Danny Veña Music Training talked to us that my son is truly a fast learner. She recommended to shift from group to solo organ lesson. We followed their recommendations. Every session, Jelvin quickly learns the music notes and memorize it. From his music training, they have observed that my son is dynamic that he can play organ with the group and can also play organ in a solo. So, they decided to give Jelvin three performances in the recital. His solo performance is playing organ with a title Long, Long Ago. That is the video posted below.
The organ group performances of him are with AJV’s Group organ with titles – Mary Had a Little Lamb, Old Mc Donald, & Yankee Doodle. The second AJV’s group organ with him is the harmonious Polka and Munchen Polka. The Organ Recital by Jelvin Alfred, my son is wonderful. It is beautiful and relaxing to hear their musical instruments while you watch them busy pressing the keys of the organ.
Danny Veña’s Summer recital 2017 happened last July 15, 2017 at the Palm Grove, Buhay na Tubig Imus Cavite. We enjoyed the musical event loaded with various songs and musical instruments. There’s a band in the grand opening, solo organ performances, vocal solo, solo violin, group organ, solo guitar, and group guitar. It’s an amazing afternoon that the event went smoothly.
After the performances, we had dinner in the event. Parents brought different foods and refreshments. The organizer – Danny Veña’s Music Training also prepared food catering for everybody. It was a great night!
We opted to continue the organ lesson of my son with their music training. My son is into music. His latest favorite is “You Raise Me Up” by Josh Groban. I gave him the music notes, piano chords but only half of the song. He already knew how to play it. He just tried to find the notes for the chorus because there’s none in the music sheet that I gave him. Now, I need to find a music book with complete notes because Jelvin can follow and read the notes. I’ll have to ask his coach on what to buy.
We’re thankful for God’s gift to my son for being a fast-learner child who can quickly memorize and store memories in his brain. I told him that with God’s gift or talent given to us, we should use it with a good purpose and share it with our fellow to inspire and help. This vision had helped during the Organ Recital by Jelvin Alfred.
Stay tuned for more updates.
