First, I saw this plant in my garden. It easily grows in pots or soil where there is moist and sunlight. Its leaves are shaped like a heart and its stem is soft. The brightness of its green leaves depends on its exposure to the sun. The stem is soft and small.
Next, I asked a fellow member of UCOG of how they prepare this herbal plant as a salad. I thought of mixing with mango and tomato with it. It simply complements the flavor.

What is the taste of pansit-pansitan? According to some people, it has a mild pepper taste. Upon tasting it, I think I just tasted a mild bitterness as my after taste. My mom-in-law who also tried it said that she tasted a somewhat mild pepper in the pansit-pansitan.
