Is Cafe Amadeo worth visiting? I’ll share our first time experience during our visit at their coffee shop. What’s inside and products they sell in Cafe Amadeo Coffee Sarap.
We are living in Cavite for almost eight years now as of this writing. The most popular destination in Tagaytay such as People’s Park in the Sky or Palace in the Sky, Sky ranch, Our Lady of Manaoag Tagaytay, Mahogany market, Bag of Beans, Taal Vista Hotel, and Leslie’s Bulalo are some of the places we have visited.
During our early years in Cavite, we are so happy to enjoy the proximity of our residence to Tagaytay. Tagaytay is one of the relax, calm, and happy places in the Philippines. The cool weather together with its scenic view of the Taal volcano makes it a perfect romantic place to be.
What is the best time to go to Cafe Amadeo? Being one of the popular coffee shop in Amadeo near Tagaytay, there is no wonder the parking is always full.
We actually tried to stop by several times here when we travel to Tagaytay. But, we are hesitant to stay due to full parking. There are times the parking reached the side of the road already.
So, the best time to go to Cafe Amadeo is during off peak hours or weekdays. We finally got a chance to visit their coffee shop one Monday at around 10 in the morning. Only few guests are there and the parking is available.
Just a tip when parking there, if the front parking is full, try their garage parking located at the left side of the coffee shop. On the side of the shop, there is a stall where you can buy fresh produce from their farmers such as banana, guyabano, papaya, and other fruits or vegetables in season or available.
Pahimis coffee and suman Sa lihiya are a perfect match when you dine in at Cafe Amadeo. My husband ordered a cafe latte while I ordered Caramel Machiatto. We both have Suman sa lihiya at the side. It tastes so good! Pahimis blend coffee is one of the best tasting coffee that you should try.
How much is the coffee at Cafe Amadeo?
As a couple, we ordered two coffee (hot) and Suman sa Lihiya. The hot Cafe Latte cost 95 pesos while the cold caramel Machitatto cost 105 pesos. The delicious Suman sa Lihiya price is at 60 pesos each. Imagine for only Php320, we get to enjoy the satisfying Amadeo coffee with the local kakanin suman sa lihiya. Sarap!
This is one the cheapest dates we had yet so comforting with the coffee and suman. Just before leaving the place, wait for about 15-30 minutes so that you can urinate first or the other way around. You know the effects of coffee to our tummy much more with the suman.
I love how their Cafe’ Amadeo Development Cooperative works. This is a Bayanihan that goes on till the modern day. One of the missions is to help their farmers specifically the coffee growers to promote their coffee beans to different companies, big or small and private individual as well. Let us support local!
We love the combination of suman sa lihiya with coffee. What makes the suman sa lihiya special is the caramel sauce and muscovado sprinkles. You can also order the available cakes they offer such as chocolate or carrot cake or Sylvannas.
Cafe Amadeo is more than just a coffee shop. They sell quality pasalubong products mostly from Cavite and from other nearby provinces. The isle showcases their main products such as varieties of coffee and tablea.
Some of the pasalubong you can buy are apas, jacobina (my fave), camachile, lengua de gato, polvoron, sampalok, kangkong chips, and a lot more. I bought suman sa lihiya for takeout for my mom-in-law and mother.
I bought the popular Pahimis blend coffee of Cafe Amadeo. This fine brew has a pleasant flavor and enticing aroma. From the town of Amadeo, which started the Pahimis (or “Thanksgiving”) festival. Pahimis is a blend of Arabica, Robusta and Barako. When I reached home, I brew this coffee. I love the scent and it is true that Pahimis blend is delicious. Swabe ang timpla ng kape! I usually add brown or muscovado sugar as the sweetener.
Moreover, the prices of coffee and other products at Cafe Amadeo are just right. It is affordable compared to other coffee shop. You can enjoy a cup of coffee in their airconditioned coffee shop or simply at the Al Fresco.
Absolutely, Cafe Amadeo is worth the visit! No wonder Amadeo is the coffee capital of the Philippines.
I encourage you to bring with you your family most especially lolo and lolas. They will love it! We’ll definitely go back here.
