At seven months my cute baby girl is growing up bigger and prettier. As parents, we normally wonder what are the milestones of progress of our baby or child so I have checked my baby book. I wanted to know if my cute baby girl is growing up appropriately and fine.
Baby Milestones of Progress at Seven (7) Months
Your baby is Usual if baby:
- Sits without support
- Drags Objects towards self
Your baby is Beginning if baby:
- Lunges forward or starts crawling
- combines syllables
- starts to experience stranger anxiety
Your baby is Ahead if baby:
- Waves goodbye
- stands while holding onto something
- bang objects together
- begins to understand object performance
I am so thankful and glad that my baby already have these progress except for waves goodbye. Hmm, I think I will start to teach her now to wave goodbye. Instead of waving goodbye she knows how to clap and hit your open hand with her hand (Give me five! as they say). I have observed that she is ahead because she have milestones that can be seen in an eight- month old baby.
Baby Milestones of Progress at Eight (8) Months
Your baby is Usual if baby:
- Says “mama” or “dada”
- Passes objects from hand to hand
Your baby is Beginning if baby:
- Stands while holding onto something
- Crawls
- Points at objects
- Searches for hidden objects
Your baby is Ahead if baby:
- Pulls self to standing
- cruises
- picks things up with thumb-finger grasp
- Indicates wants with gestures
My cute baby girl can say “mama”, “papa”, “dede”, and “baba”. She can stand with one hand while holding onto something. She is so playful that she searches objects when I am hiding it under pillows. My baby Miray also pulls herself to standing. Aside from milk, I am now feeding my baby with baby cereals and baby biscuits.
