Good day! A beautiful first day of September begins. For my good vibes Monday, early in the morning I went to the wet market and bought different meat products for my Meal Plan for the Week.
Normally, I buy Monterey meat products. Good thing that there is a Monterey meat shop nearby our place. For the week, I bought pork belly, sinigang cut, ground lean pork, beef cubes, and embotido. At the wet market, I bought Dalagang bukid fish and vegetables for my pork sinigang recipe.
Meal Plan for the Week
- Marinated Pork Belly Barbeque
- Pork Meat Balls
- Chicken Afritada
- Nilagang Baboy
- Fried Fish
- Mixed Vegetables
- Paksiw na Isda
- Nilagang Baka
- Tinolang Manok
- Embotido for breakfast
I will be preparing different recipes for these meat products. For pork belly, I marinated it in a barbeque style recipe. Ground pork is for meat balls. Chicken afritada, Nilagang baka, Nilagang baboy, fried and paksiw na isda are other recipes that I will be preparing too. Part of the ground pork is a perfect ingredient too in cooking simple mixed vegetables.
Those are my meal plan for the week for my family. Since I have a five-year-old kid and a one and a half year old toddler, I always have soup meals for the kids.
