A Day in the Life of a WAHM

January 26, 2017 Leave a Comment

What is a day in the life of a WAHM? Yes, I am a work-at-home mom. I’ve been working online with my regular work from home job for almost nine years now. For those who still do not know what a WAHM means, it is work-at-home mom. Having a home-based job is my greatest dream prior to my married life.

Time management tips for working moms

Day in the life of a wahm

Before, I only wanted to be a simple housewife. I admire how my mother raised us well. She gave up her career to fully take care of me and my siblings. She just returned to office work when we are already grownups.  I love the quality time we’ve spent together. My mother taught me and my siblings wonderful lessons in life. To be a person with dignity, discipline, kind, smart, and courageous. She is always in my heart. A role model that I have to be a better mom for my kids.

A day in the life of a WAHM in me is superb.  I am a hands-on mom. I prepare my son’s baon for school and fetch him in school. I usually bath my little girl before working online. I set schedule for cleaning. I use my mom 247 planner to boost my productivity level. In the morning, Often, I go the the wet market to buy fresh products. If it is not raining, I let my pet play outdoors. I prepare and eat breakfast with my youngest daughter and sometimes with my husband.

By lunch time, I am almost done with online work. If it is the season of my work, I find myself done by 4 or 5pm. I’ll have a playtime with kids. I fix our bedroom and toys on the floor (if there is any). I set a schedule for my blogging time.

In the afternoon, it’s time for my first born. Daily, I talk to my son when he arrives home. If there are no major exams, I let my kids play outdoors. It will be followed by dinner time and preparing for bed time with kids.

Here are some of my posts being a work-at-home mom and a day in the Life of a WAHM related post.
