Part of my goal before 2011 ends is to give a simple donation to “Tahanan Mapagkalinga ni Madre Rita” (TMMR) to support their mission “In solidarity with the less fortunate Filipino families, who are victims of poverty and abuse, TMMR provide an alternative home for children that offers basic needs and holistic formation as they journey back to their family or new home and community. My best friend Sister Marilou Dumalag, O.S.A. who is a nun introduced me to this home for Children-in-need of Special Protection. Giving a donation for them is my special gift for myself this November 22. I am planning to visit them and give the donation on December 3, 2011 saturday. According to Sister Marilou, they will accept any kinds of donation but they mostly needed food stocks and money for everyday expenses. They also have expenditures for the children that they sent to nearby schools at Topaz St. , Rosaryville subdivision Sta. Cruz, Guiguinto Bulacan.

Update: Instead of donating on my birthday, I just attended a wonderful Christmas program with them. From the bottom of my heart, I donated the amount I could to them. This is with the help of my close friend Sister Malou. The kids were all happy. They are graceful when they perform. The kids are so respectful. We have a wonderful time with them.
