Food Cravings

July 13, 2012 1 Comment

When I got pregnant I started to crave different foods. In the first two months, I would love to eat sweet or sour fruits such as Green Mango, Sweet Tamarind, Pineapple, Pomelo, Guyabano and Strawberry. There are also times that I would like to eat in the restaurant and order the best seller’s dish.

One day I am strolling at the mall with my hubby, we spotted a fine dining restaurant. Because it is weekend there are many customers in the dining area and some are on the waiting area. The restaurant’s cooking area is transparent where you can see their chefs cooking different sumptuous dishes. The cooking area is clean and I think they have the best restaurant equipment. I remember my uncle who is a  Chef working abroad before that aside from the secret ingredients, using clean and quality cooking equipment are good to consider in cooking excellent food products.

Currently I am on my way to second trimester and my food cravings started to diminish. I need to eat nutritious foods for my healthy diet  and I should avoid too much fatty, salty and sweet foods. I am targeting an ideal weight for a healthy pregnancy and delivery.

I remember my sister in law during her pregnancy. The fruits she craves are grapes, mango, mangosteen, and apple. She also loves baking during that time.. (^_^)
