In the Philippines summer season has ended and we are now approaching rainy season. I missed family excursions and swimming. I have spent summer filled with activities and the only way to enjoy my spare time is watching and playing with my kids. Watching news on TV, I have seen several good resorts to visit. Private pools are quite expensive compared to public swimming pools.
A clean and clear water in the pool is important especially when you have kids. In the summer feature of a TV program, I have watched their process on how the water in the swimming pool was clean. The public swimming pool usually have many guest and the water in the pool should always be cleaned. There are several process to keep the pool clean. They use a net to remove certain debris like leaf then regularly cleaning the pool filter depending on the usage or dirt. In balancing the water they use PH tester, broom, and Soda Ash (sodium carbonate). The proper pH for a pool is in the range of 7.2 to 7.6. For good maintenance, some use salt cell.
I really miss swimming and I am looking for the summer season next year.
