Next week is the second periodical exam of my five-year old boy who is now in kindergarten. I started reviewing him since last Saturday. He is very active in playing and for the review we only take 1-2 hours per day. I am a hands-on mom that is why I love to personally teach him in a very interactive way.
I let him play and tell him if it is already time to study. I teach him the value of time. I think it is very effective when your child knows when to stop playing and start other activities such as for eating, reading, and review time.
This is a busy week for me. I need to finish my review posts and complete my other studies for my goal before the year ends. Because I have a high risk in latter periods of my gestation last year, I was not able to personally teach my child who is nursery during that time. I am thankful that he place fourth in the class. This year is very challenging to me – online work with a baby and teaching my kinder son. I am not aiming for him to be on top of the class, I’ll be happier if he learns a lot and understands the way it should be.
Now he can read some words and identify certain things according to the subject matter. I am enjoying more to be a mom. Now you know what I have been doing for the past days 🙂 . Happy Wednesday!
