Christmas Tree Price and Designs

November 8, 2014 24 Comments

Christmas is the most celebrated holiday in many parts of the world. In the Philippines, people start to decorate for Christmas in as early as September. Traditionally, a decorative Christmas tree can be seen in every home and establishments. Let me share more aboutย Christmas tree price and designs.

Christmas Tree Price and Designs

I started decorating for Christmas at home when I was single. Now that I am already married with two kids, it makes me more excited in preparing for Christmas. Of course, we always have a decorative Christmas tree. Where to buy and what is the Christmas tree price and designs?

If you live in Metro Manila and really want cheap price, you may go to Divisoria and Dapitan. The price of a 6 ft. Christmas tree there ranges from Php600 to 1, 300 depending on the type or designs. Uniwide sales is also a haven for the lowest bargain.

If you do not have enough time to buy at shopping centers, you may buy your Christmas tree online. My brother did it two years ago when he bought a 6 ft. Christmas tree from cashcashpinoy.com. The price is P1,200. Currently, there are still available Christmas tree for sale online. I suggest you to search in google for Christmas tree online deals. You can visit metrodeal, ensogo, groupon, cashcashpinoy, and other online stores that have an ongoing promo and deals. The risk in buying online is that you really can’t distinguish the quality of the Christmas tree before you buy. The advantage is less-hassle for travel and shopping time because you do not have to engage yourself in traffic when buying.

At the mall, they also have Christmas tree and other decorations for sale but expect the price at a higher cost. I canvass for a 6-ft. Christmas tree and the mall price cost from Php 2,800 to Php6,000 depending on the type or style of Christmas tree. I noticed that White Christmas tree is cheaper compared to the green Christmas tree. Obviously, it is because most people here prefer a green one. It is the traditional Christmas tree and compared to the white, the green tree is not prone to discoloration when you re-use it again for several years. Now, which do you think is the perfect Christmas tree in the long run? Green Christmas tree or White?

In the photo above, the Christmas tree pictures are capturedย from Handy Man at The District in Imus Cavite. Can you guess which design we picked? If you are my follower in Instagram, you will know which Christmas tree I chose. ย We bought the 6-ft. pine-needle green Christmas tree at the price of P2,800 + less 20% off discount. The decorative flowers cost at about P30 each, Christmas balls set at P100-P400 depending on style and size, and the LED Christmas lights cost at P399. For a 6-ft. Christmas tree, you need two Christmas lights to make it glow brighter.

The outcome is beautiful. My eldest son and hubby helped me in building and decorating the Christmas tree. My little girl was so amazed when she saw the Christmas tree with the Christmas lights on. This marks the very first Christmas tree of my family here in Cavite.

How about you? What’s your Christmas tree story?

Very timing post Mommy Jem! I won’t be having a big christmas tree at home because our house so cramped na. I will be using several miniature christmas trees instead.

We’ve had our Christmas tree for the past five years and have no plans of buying a new one. But our tree decorations definitely need an upgrade. I want to change our color theme for this year. ๐Ÿ™‚

That is the reason why we bought this green Christmas tree because we want to keep it for years.

We put up our Christmas tree as early as the first day of September and my 11 month old son had a lot of fun playing with the Christmas balls. We were also lucky enough to have bought a 6ft tree that’s worth less than a thousand pesos. It was such a great deal!

Wow!

      Hi Rackell,

Nung bumili yung brother ko before through online, ok naman ang Christmas tree because I was there when he assembled. Yung quality ng Christmas tree maayos naman pero syempre when compared sa mall mas maganda quality ng sa mall.

We are setting up a small tree in our place this year as we are celebrating the holidays in Bacolod. Looking at your pictures makes me want to shop for a big one!

    Hello mommy!

My Christmas tree was bought by mom in Landmark, since I was pregnant at that time and walking around the mall is not really the best idea for me. It was a 5ft tree lang, costs me around P3,000 pa ata, which my husband opposed pa since he’s not the Christmas kind of guy ๐Ÿ™‚

We don’t have our Christmas tree yet. We just moved here last year and ang dami pang mga gamit na nakakalat at marami pang dapat irenovate. Hopefully next year, we would be able to finish all projects para maganda ang Pasko. ๐Ÿ™‚

I love Christmas decors..however our place is so tiny I couldn’t bring in a 6ft tree hahaha. I’d settle for the little ones, I’ll just recycle the tree I used last year. ๐Ÿ™‚

I always dream of having a silver Christmas tree. I don’t want the usual green one then design by what you want. When it comes to Christmas decors, we usually go to Dapitan kasi sulit din naman ang price, ang dami pang choices.

We haven’t done the usual big tree in awhile because my youngest would just tear it apart. We did a small tree last year and that went well so might give that a try. Happy Holidays!

My youngest wants to pick the Christmas balls that is why we always watch her when she’s at the living room.

Since I started living on my own, it was a no-brainer for me NOT to put up a Christmas tree. Too time-consuming…not to mention, my place was always too small. But after reading this post and seeing how decorating a tree can be such a fun activity with rewarding results (read: your daughter being amazed looking at the beautiful Christmas tree you, your son, and your hubby put together,) I’m now thinking about starting this tradition with our son. It will be his first Christmas this December!
