House Gate Design

January 10, 2017 8 Comments

Welcome to our humble abode! Sharing with you our house gate design. Our home is still unfinished but, we manage to build the most important part of the house for security – the gate. We didn’t change the original house exterior design of the Farrah house model. It took almost a month in the construction of this gate including the concrete fencing surrounding the house.

House Gate Design

The house gate design was my idea, then hubby suggested other details to it. I love a home with natural lighting and air passing through for a more auspicious living. You will notice that the gate panels have spacing. We actually wanted a stainless gate, but since we are on a tight budget, we use the other option- the steel gate. The gate design I chose is timeless. A combination of modern wall cladding design and classic gate features. As you can see some materials for home extension are noticeable in the photo. We’re praying that we can pursue with the house extension this year. There is also a temporary gazebo installed while waiting for the construction of the house extension. To view the before photos of our house when it was newly built, visit my post Farrah House construction.

For the memory of this gate design, the approximate cost of the labor and materials are as follows:

  • Concrete Fencing with labor (front, quarter sides, and back) —  P120,000
  • Steel gate (including the installation of the steel matting on top of the concrete fence) — P45,000
  • Wall Cladding (1,500 per square meter/ @15sq. meter) — P22,500
  • Cement for Wall Cladding (I almost forgot)  — P 1,500
  • Paints and labor — P8,000
  • Wall Cladding Labor — P8,000

Total gate design cost: P205,000 (Approximate)

Dog House Design

We love our family pet dog to have auspicious living the way we want it. So, we customized a dog house for our pet “Tickles”. At the bottom of the dog’s house, there is a drainage at the side of it, making it easier to clean her house. The dog house is also big enough for her. We’re planning to get an additional dog soon. But, for now we’re thankful for our kind dog. She’s very protective of our home and barks just right in time for intruder alert 🙂 . For the dog house setup, I think we shelled out less than P5, 000 for it.

There’s a lot to do with home improvement. As of the moment, we are happy with the results of the house gate design. My next topic would be house interior designs.

It’s quite pricey but it does look great. It’s also durable and secure for a gate.

Yes pricey, because we included the fencing as well at the back of the house with steel matting on the concrete fence. We wanted it durable as well.

I just bought a house in Cavite (Equity phase plng nmn) I never thought that gate construction would be that expensive. I bet you used high grade materials. Well thats a must because safety is at stake 😉

It is really expensive – we’ve used quality materials for a long lasting gate plus it the back fence was covered too in that expense.

It’s nice that you shared the cost breakdown of your gate. For that sturdy and nice material, I’m sure the price is worth it. We’re actually looking into replacing ours as well, but I don’t think we can afford to shell out 6 digits for just that.
