In preparation for my donation project for TMMR (“Tahanan Mapagkalinga ni Madre Rita, Inc.”), I have prepared the documentation of information about their community, vision and mission statement and the programs and services of TMMR. Through the help of my best friend Sis. Marilou Dumalag, O.S.A., she has helped me communicate with their community to find out the best donation that they need.
Tahanan Mapagkalinga ni Madre Rita is a home for Children-in-need of Special Protection. It is a gift to children by the Augustinian Sisters of our lady of Consolation. The community started year 2001 and they have celebrated their 10th year Anniversary last May 15, 2011.
- Tahanan mapagkalinga ni madre rita Vision and Mission Statement
Vision Statement
In the spirit of Mother Rita and Mother Consuelo, the Tahanan Mapagkalinga ni Madre Rita (TMMR) Inc. envisions to empower children-in-need of special protection to realize their self worth, to grow towards Christian maturity and to be integrated in a child friendly social environment.
Mission Statement
In solidarity with the less fortunate Filipino families, who are victims of poverty and abuse, we provide an alternative home for children that offers basic needs and holistic formation as they journey back to their family or new home and community.
