1largeeggbeaten (half for meatballs mixture & half for the breading)
50gflour
1/2-1 tsptspsaltdepends on your salt level
ground black pepper
handfulchopped parsley or carrots(optional)
Instructions
In a bowl, combine all ingredients except for the half of the bread crumbs and half of the beaten egg and flour. For the breading: Set a plate of flour, bread crumbs, and half of the beaten egg.
Shape meatballs in less than an inch size. Make sure that your hands are clean and dry. You may also keep your hands damp with a little cold water for easier shaping of meatballs.
BREADING: Roll the shaped meatballs into the flour, shake off the excess flour. Run the meatballs through the egg to coat it lightly. Lay the meatballs in the bread crumbs then turn it over and press to firmly reshape the meatballs with breadcrumbs.
Voila! You have your firm pork meatballs.
Tip when frying meatballs: Prick the meatballs using a small stick or toothpick so that the center of the meatballs will be evenly cooked.
