The Start of Home improvement at Las Palmas Subdivision

May 12, 2013 3 Comments

The house improvement/construction permit was stamped and the water meter was already installed. Our new home is ready for the home improvement. Our contractor started the works. My husband together with his close friend visited the site and they observe the start of the work. Hubby and I are very excited that finally we were able to build a house that we called our own. As I have mentioned in my post “Home improvement of a bare-type house“, it was year 2010 when we bought the house through PAG-IBIG housing.

It was supposed to be constructed and improved last year but I was pregnant and we are waiting for the availability of the wired broadband connection. This is our first time to own a  house and lot as husband and wife that is why we are so chary of the risk involved in the home improvement. We are so thankful that our broker recommended his Uncle to the construction works who seems to be trust-worthy. Our budget is so tight that I have to make extra efforts to help with our family budget. The bare-type house that we bought has an extra lot prefect for our house extension and for my gardening plans. Ever since I was a child, I dream of having a home with a garden where I can plant fruits, vegetables and other plants. The position of our lot is facing the morning sunshine that is why the plants easily grow.   Weekly we will be visiting the place and we are truly excited for the progress. As parents, we are scrappy that we can meet our goals and plans in life especially now that we are having a challenge to finish the house.
