Monitoring the time, my task and my mommy responsibilities – these are the usual routine that I do for being a work-at-home mom. When I get married last a few years ago, I only have a simple dream and that is to become a housewife. I believe that I could be a good homemaker and I love doing all the things for my family. Since I am already working at home before my wedding I then decided to continue what I am doing. I am grateful that until now I still work at home and enjoy my career as an independent contractor.
Aside from my regular online task, I also blog where I share my passion in motherhood, home, parenting and everything that interest me as a parent. I am so thankful that some advertising agencies and brands trusted me to be part of their product campaigns and promotions. Although sometimes I find it difficult for me to balance everything I always make an effort to do things rightly. Having a time management table is very helpful especially now that I have two children. I am fully a hands-on mom that even though sometimes we have a helper, I personally do the stuff for my kids such as sterilizing baby bottles, cooking, bathing my children, and making sure of the cleanliness and orderliness at home.
Christmas season is fast-approaching that is why I wanted to save more to help my hubby with our expenditures. This year is truly the most difficult part of my family life because there are many adjustments that we make. My family is in the process of home improvement where we encountered a problem with the contractor and we are slightly affected with our finances. Hubby and I need more planning, canvassing and implementation for the continuation of our home improvement. I need to extend more time for my growing baby while taking care of my kinder child.
To save more during weekends my mom-in-law and I cook Embotido (Filipino style meatloaf) that we sell to our friends and relatives. I have so many things in mind for business as an advantage for being a work-at-home mom but I have to limit it because I need to have a balance work, family and lifestyle.
