When I read this Mommy Talk book written by Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan, I told myself that I should have read this book way back when I was a first-time mom. As I go over the pages, I have learned a lot from her even now that I am a second-time mom. Most of the questions that mothers wondered have real answers in this Mommy Talk book.

Mommy Talk Book by Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan
It was a Family Talk event -“How important is Family Financial Planning?” last year 2012 that I’ve attended when I bought this book. Ms Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan was the guest speaker who shared an inspirational family talk. Just what I have mentioned in my post, she focuses the family talk on how the family influences good values, the importance of union and raising a dreamer.
What’s inside the Mommy Talk book?
The book consists of nine parts where she talks about her experiences and learning about wedding, pregnancy, family health, helpful tips about raising your child, travel tips, encouraging story on how to love your mother-in-law, and many hearty insights of being a mother. When you read the book you will feel that you are connected to the words that she conveys. In every part, there is an inspiring quote that I find so simple and smart. It is so true that she brings you with her through the pain and heartaches of motherhood and whisks you away through the joys and triumphs of lessons well-learned as commented by Coney Reyes in the book.
I think the price of the Mommy Talk book in National bookstore is less than Php300. I highly recommend this book to all mothers especially to the first-time moms. Find out the “Oh!s” and “No!s” of motherhood with this Mommy Talk book.
