Natural Cure for Gall Stones

October 18, 2013 6 Comments

Did you know why some people suffer from having multiple Gall stones? The causes of the formation of small stones (the size of a pea or larger) called gall stones is due to too much calcium and cholesterol in the bile. Normally gall stones are not harmful, but if one of them clogs in the bile ducts,  the bile can get trapped in the gall bladder and caused it to become inflamed. Let me share an effective natural cure for gall stones that my mother tried.

My mother has been diagnosed with multiple gall stones. We are finding ways on how to remove it naturally. It has been two years when she’s diagnosed and according to the doctor it can be treated by Surgery or Laparoscopic  Cholecystectomy. She acquired this gall stones after taking Calcium tablets for more than a year. She was diagnosed before for having Osteopenia, a condition wherein the bone density is somewhat lower than normal at risk for osteoporosis. The doctor recommends her to take Calcium tablets to help strengthen her bones. My mom regret taking these calcium tablets.

The gall stones symptoms may be asymptomatic that according to my mom the pain occurs when she eats pork or any fatty foods. There is an  intense pain in the upper-right side of the abdomen, often accompanied by nausea and vomiting, that steadily increases for approximately 30 minutes or several hours. When she experience this gallstone attack, I have noticed that she is striving hard to overcome the pain.

We are thankful that we didn’t have to rush her to the hospital. Since then she started a healthy lifestyle avoiding pork and fatty foods. What did my mom do to make her gall stones smaller? Every time she buys in the supermarket, she always have the Mott’s apple juice and fresh apples which she eats almost everyday. After two years of religiously doing this when she went  for laboratory tests (abdominal ultrasound and computerized tomography) check-up lately, her gall stones become smaller and the doctor say that she doesn’t need an operation anymore.

Although my mom’s gall stones are smaller, we are still looking for other ways to completely flush those gall stones. An alternative medicine that I have read most is the “gallbladder flush” or “liver flush“.

How to do the gallbladder flush? The patient drinks four glasses of pure apple juice (not cider) and eats five apples (or applesauce) per day for five days, then fasts briefly, takes magnesium and then drinks large quantities of lemon juice mixed with olive oil before bed. The next morning, they painlessly pass a number of green and brown pebbles purported to be stones flushed from the biliary system.

Another easy way for a self-administered gall bladder disease treatment is to take fresh apples, extra virgin Olive oil mixed with lemon juice. See instructions below.

Natural Cure for Gall Stones or gall bladder diseases

  • For three days, drink at least four glasses of freshly made apple juice (preferably green apples). The malic acid in apples softens the stones.
  • On the evening of third day, right before sleeping, drink two ounces of extra virgin oil mixed with four ounces of lemon juice (not calamansi juice). Osterize to blend well. Lie down on your right side for 20 minutes with your right knee as close to your chest as possible- this position opens the pathway to the gall bladder so that the olive oil lemon juice mixture can work to dissolve and clean out any stone that has been forming.
  • Watch out for changes as you urinate the following day.
  • The process may be repeated after four days, and as often as you want to, depending on the progress.

I found this natural cure for gall bladder diseases and thankful to the Mommy Talk book by Maricel Laxa-Pangilinan. She mentioned that this recipe was shared by her dear friend Ed de Guzman who has helped many people with gall bladder disease as a natural alternative. Thank you Sir Ed.

My mom will be doing the recipe for natural Cure for Gall Stones or gall bladder diseases. I hope it will work fine. I will also try it myself since I think I need to cleanse my gall bladder too because there are times that I eat too much fatty foods.

Update as of August 2014:

So, how was my mom today who was diagnosed with multiple gall stones? Is this natural cure for gall stones effective? Absolutely very effective! My mother religiously eat apples everyday and she did this natural cure for gall stones several times. Recently, She had her medical tests and we are so happy that her gall stones are now small and very few compared to her previous laboratory results. She is not complaining anymore with pains in her stomach area. She always make sure to eat healthy and nutritious foods, avoid fatty foods with high cholesterol, and always drink plenty of water.

      Hi Mommy Joy,

For kidney stones, I think it is better to consult to your doctor if this is ok to try because in this process, it deals about gallstones and my mom also consulted her doctor about this.

I had a Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy last December. I was not able to try any natural cure because it was an ER case. =(
