Love is in the air. It is the Love Month and same with the Big Celebrations like Christmas and New Year “Valentine’s Day” is also a big event to celebrate especially for those hearts filled with love. How do we say “I Love You in Different Languages? ”

I still remember the first day I celebrated my Valentine’s Day with my husband. It really feels good to be loved and hear the words “I Love You”.

 

To make life sweeter and share the words “I Love You ” in different languages no matter who we are and where we are, I have collected the translation of the words “I Love You” in many different languages.

 

Say “I Love You” in Different Philippine Local Dialects

  • Bicolano – namomotan taka
  • Bisaya – Nahigugma ako kanimo
  • Cebuano – Gihigugma ko ikaw
  • Tagalog –  Iniirog kita
  • Ilokano – Dungdungwen ka, Ay-ayatenka, Ipatpategka
  • Ilonggo – Palangga ko ikaw
  • Kapampangan – Kaluguran daka
  • Pangalatok – Inaaru daka

    No offense meant to BIsaya (I am Bisaya), but for me, nothing beats the Tagalog way of saying “I love you.” This is compared to other languages din ha. It’s the sweetest sounding!
