Jelly Bean candies for Kids

February 16, 2012 1 Comment

Jelly bean candies is one of the favorite candies of my little boy. When he watch educational children shows, he usually see the Jelly bean candies and he ask me to buy those candies. I tried to look for this candy in the local market but it was hard to find. Good thing that my sister from Canada sent Jelly bean candies inside the balikbayan package.

From the packaging the ingredients of Jelly bean candies are sugar, glucose syrup, modified corn starch, icing sugar, carnauba wax, mineral oil, artificial flavors and color #5. It was manufactured in a nut free/ peanut free facility and may contain traces of milk ingredients. As a mom, I am very concern of the calorie content because lately I have been focusing on my little boy’s weight gain. For every 14 candies, the calorie is equivalent to 110 calories. It has 9% carbohydrate but I don’t see any nutritional percentage for Vitamins. He enjoy eating the jelly bean candies while watching his favorite children TV show.

The Jelly bean candies are sweet, soft and has an exciting taste especially for kids.
