Annually, it’s been my interest to get to know the color of the year. The color of the year 2018 is Ultra Violet and what I blogged about is the color fashion trend spring 2018. In 2017, the Pantone color is greenery. 2016 Pantone color is Rose Quartz while 2015 fashion and home color is Marsala. Radiant Orchid is the color of 2014 while Emerald is 2013. Knowing the color of the year is amazing, that it will be a good guide or pattern with your theme and mood for the year.
Living Coral is the color of 2019
According to Pantone, its Color of the Year 2019 is the Living Coral. Pantone provides a universal language of color that enables color-critical decisions through every stage of the workflow for brands and manufacturers. PANTONE 16-1546 Living Coral is an animating and life-affirming coral hue with a golden undertone that energizes and enlivens with a softer edge. It is a fusion of modern life that appears in our natural surroundings and at the same time, displays a lively presence within social media. The color application uses:
- Use for hard home, ceramics, textiles, apparel, paint, cosmetics, fashion accessories, and leather goods
- Use for color inspiration, specification, and production at the office, lab, or on the go
The colors are simply an inspiration for home, fashion, and interiors.

Among the five color palettes, what I like most is the Shimmering Set. I love pink and yellow or gold. It is a warm color but not too vivid.
This 2019, I already have a Living coral shade with my drape blouse bought from Uniqlo. I like the premium quality of clothing and design that Uniqlo have. For a girly or more feminine look, I love Kamiseta. At home, I am thinking of adding some Living Coral hues. We’ll see.
