I had a simple and a happy birthday yesterday. My parents and my brother visited me at home. Thank you to all who greeted me! What I got for my not so special celebration is my birthday chocolate cake.
I preferred to celebrate it with my family only. As much as I want to celebrate it with so many people and friends, I’ve mentioned in my birthday dream post/ideas that it is not going to happen. My husband bought me a deliciously birthday chocolate cake. The cake is fudgy and moistly. I love the texture and the not so sweet chocolate. The day before my birthday, we cooked Pochero, Pansit, Lasagna, and Sweet and Sour Maya Maya fish. A few days before my birthday, I had a derm care with husband. Then on my not so special birthday, I attended the New Pampers Baby Dry 99.9% skin dryness challenge. When I arrived home, we ate lunch. We had Halo halo, chicharon, puff cream, and drunk plenty of water. The best part of my simple celebration is to sing duet with my brother. Just like the old times, we enjoyed singing duets together. This is what I missed from being away from my brother. There’s my mama and dade. Seeing them alive and kicking is already gift to me. There is nothing in life that I ask for. I just pray for good health, mind, and safety of my family. And world peace! Amen!
