Last June 1 was Superbook's come-back television and it was well received by Pinoys, young and old alike, as it took the 15th spot on the Overnight Data of the National Urban Top Daytime Programs list provided by Nielsen Audience Measurement. Like many Filipino families from different parts of the Philippines, we woke up early and watched Superbook Reimagined's pilot episode  entitled "In The Beginning." According to Nielsen, Superbook Reimagined got a 2.9% of the individuals watching during ... [ Continue Reading ]

Before he turned four, I did several ways for his weight gain and I am glad that it helps. Now I am facing another challenge and that is ... [ Continue Reading ]

October 5, 2012 2 Comments

My son loves to eat different snacks at home. As a mom, I always choose and buy healthy snacks. In my childhood days, I still remember great snacks that I like to eat. One of these snacks are the Haw flakes. These are chinese sweets that are made from the fruit of Chinese mountain hawberry. The taste of haw flakes is sweet with a tinge of sourness. According to recent research, the fruit has a potential use in preventing skin cancer. The polyphenols derived from the fruit of the tree have ... [ Continue Reading ]

Goldilocks Polvocone kid’s Snack

September 25, 2012 9 Comments

Goldilocks Polvocone is a cute kid's snack polvoron stuffed inside a small sugar cone with milk chocolate coating on top. I found this polvocone when I bought some bread and pastries from Goldilocks. It was my little boy's first examination week last month so to give him sort of encouragement and boost his energy, I bought delicious healthy snacks. The ... [ Continue Reading ]
