The first high calorie-boosting that I posted for my toddler’s healthy weight is raisin snacks. Full cream yogurt is another healthy high calorie food to consider to help child’s weight gain. Full cream yogurt are dairy high-energy-yielding food products commonly came from cow’s milk. Yogurt are produced by bacterial fermentation of milk. They are safe to eat because of the process that kill any undesirable bacteria then the milk proteins was denatured so that they set together, cooled and takes several process for fermentation.

The photo above is Macalawan Live full cream yogurt which cost at approximately Php25-30 ($0.71) per 100g container. It was so hard to look for full cream yogurt because they are limited in the supermarket. When buying a yogurt, be very careful to read the expiration because yogurt cream usually expires in five to seven days. Try small servings first to your little ones before offering the full yogurt then observe for a few minutes. This is to test to make sure that she/he is not lactose intolerance. Although most people who are lactose intolerance can eat yogurt without symptoms, it is better to examine the child by small servings first. One thing that I have noticed when my child eats yogurt is that it aids my son in his easy bowel movement.
