- Light, brightly colorful toys with shapes – Before baby can manipulate toys or even recognize faces he or she will like to lie and look up at colorful moving things
- A string of rattle beads on elastic above the cot – will introduce him or her in using his hands for playing. A very small baby will probably spend a lot of time in a carry-cot.
- Peek-a-boo with his reflections at the mirror – Babies often like to look at themselves at the mirror although it will take them a while to understand who they are seeing! Mommy should hold the mirror then the baby can look from mirror to mommy (be sure it’s the same person) and then he may start to play peek-a-boo.

Good tips. I bought my little niece a soft dino toy that he can use as a pillow. Yeap, it has a colorful design too.
