My visita Iglesia plan is supposed to be yesterday in Quezon City but I failed to accomplished it. Last year I have a great time with my mother as we completed visiting seven different churches for our Visita Iglesia in Manila. Now I changed my plan to visit seven different churches in Quezon City which is my plan earlier. I plan to do the stations of the cross at a very serene place “Our Lady of Victory Chapel in Malabon” and I will bring my little boy because the place is a nearby church from our place.
It’s been more than a decade since I last visited Our Lady of Victory Chapel in Malabon. Back in my grade school and high school days, this church has always been a venue for our school’s baccalaureate mass. Nowadays, I have been seeing this church in some Philippine movies and Teleserye. This church has a beautiful historical background. Through Visita Iglesia, it is not just about the Holy week traditions but it is also a great way to learn more about history of different churches that you have visited. For Catholics like me, it is a good way of spiritual awareness enriching ourselves with the latest updates about different churches.
I have not heard of this church but would love to visit this 🙂 I enjoy “discovering” churches.
